The Alba Adventure Company

These pictures were taken September 1998 at Edinburgh Castle. They are of the Alba Adventure Company demonstrating Edinburgh during the occupation by Bonnie Prince Charlie
This is the traditional garb of the lowlander footsoldier and this particular one assured me it was WATER he was drinking.

This fine upstanding gentleman would like to tell you about himself in his own words

"A shud tell yea thit a am a lowland fitsojer ae the Jacobite airmy no the government airmy .(they weer they awfy rid coats) Am ae the Edinburrie rejiment unner the command o colonel John Roy Stewart an fechtin fir his Royal Highness Prince Charles Edward Stewart.
Tae The King Ower The Watter!
King James An Nae Union.!"

You can contact this fine upstanding gentleman here and I can assure you he is every bit as handsome in real life!

A demonstration of the much feared Highland charge is very scary even when you know its not for real.
